A few months ago, I created mock-up album covers for releases I was excited for. Now that two of those projects have been released (Kanye West’s ye and ASAP Rocky’s Testing) and we’ve had time to truly understand the albums I wondered what would these albums be like live?
Initially the idea for this visual stemmed from my vision of a Kanye West solo tour, bringing the intimate atmosphere of his famous Wyoming listening party across the globe. I included designs for potential ASAP Rocky and Death Grips tour posters, like Ye, to translate the aesthetic of their album into my vision of how it could be marketed.
