I'm sure you've already seen me on the about section, but if not, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Niall Evans, a Coventry University Media & Communications student and the creator of this website. Atompeak Media is a place for me to express my creativity, passion and love for the current media landscape we live in. I'll be showing off this creativity each week through a weekly blog post placed into one of three categories:
CASE STUDIES - My case studies are essay-like pieces usually revolving around a film, TV show, piece of music or anything else that interests me enough to write a case study about it. I've already made one about Frank Ocean and his unique approach to releasing music which you can read here.
REVIEWS - After I see a film/tv show, listen to an album or attend an event, there's a likely chance you'll see it reviewed on this website. I'm already planning out reviews of Darren Aranofsky's film, mother! and a compilation review of the best films of 2017.
VISUAL - Visual posts will mainly be photos or videos created, shot, filmed or edited by me. I'm sure you've seen the logo of the atom-mountain combo around the website. This logo was actually made by myself from scratch, using an iPhone app. If you want to find out more, read the blog post 'Visual 001 - The Atompeak Logo'.
As I mentioned earlier, the aim is to give you all fresh content every week, fitting into one of the categories above. You can also find Atompeak Media on Facebook and Instagram - where I'll be keep you updated on the content from this website as well as reposting what inspires me. If Tumblr is your network of choice, you're welcome to follow my personal account untilthenoisecomes, where I'll be re-blogging with a more visual state of mind.
